Estimator
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator with Rough Carpentry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing construction plans and specifications, performing quantity takeoffs, and preparing detailed cost estimates for US-based construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and project requirements.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates for rough carpentry projects, including framing, sheathing, decking, and roofing.
- Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that they meet project specifications and requirements.
- Create detailed project budgets and schedules, including all labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that project costs are managed effectively and efficiently.
- Provide ongoing cost analysis and forecasting to project teams, identifying potential cost overruns or savings opportunities.
- Participate in project meetings with US and Canada clients.
